You may have seen on my social channels over the past few weeks loads of venue changes - Ambrosden Village Hall has been undergoing some work to replace the floor for a number of weeks now. This work was originally planned to take 1 week; and I have had news that this is going to roll into the end of October 2019.
I appreciate that this has been incredibly frustrating for a number of you who don't have access to transport or struggle to make it across to an alternative venue. Believe me, this has been the source of an incredible amount of stress at Pride HQ too!
We will be relocating to Fencott & Murcott Village Hall until the renovation work is completed at Ambrosden Village Hall.
Tuesday nights usually consist of two Yoga 101 Hatha-style classes at 18:30-19:30 and 19:45-20:45.
For various reasons, the Late Evening class will not be run as a Yoga 101 Hatha-style class for the remainder of my residency at Fencott & Murcott Village Hall (aside from the already announced session on Tuesday 17th September).
However, this does present the opportunity to try something totally new during October, which is so exciting!
Tuesday 17th September: 18:30 and 19:45 will take place as normal at Fencott & Murcott Village Hall
Tuesday 24th September: TIME CHANGE! 18:30 will be 15 minutes earlier and class will start at 18:15. There will be no 19:45 class.
New Tuesday Class for October 2019
Presenting the Introduction to Yin Yoga Course!
The dates will be 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd October at Fencott & Murcott Hall, 7:45-8:45pm and the entire course is £40. There will be six places available on the course.
At this stage; bookings are open for the whole course only to ensure each student gets the maximum benefit from the course. You can read all the information on the course here. It is a great complementary practice to the regular yang Hatha classes and also our stressed, overstimulated modern lives - if like me, you're someone who really struggles to switch off and is always going a mile a minute... you're going to really benefit from taking an hour out each week in this type of class. The course will be just Yin. Think of it like an Unwind Super-Lite - without the bits that some students have been nervous about and that are maybe a tad more spiritual; and just getting to grips with the style of practice, in my usual fluff-free fashion. Classes are also shorter at 1 hour versus 90 minutes for Friday Night Unwind.
All the extras won't be there - the eye pillows, gentle movement, yoga Nidra, readings, themes, massages, essential oils & scentwork - all those elements will be reserved for Friday Night Unwind to preserve the essence of that unique experience, meaning you've still got the opportunity to go deeper into Yin and the world around it, if you wish.
