PRIVATE 1:1 TUITON

WHAT IS IT?

Private 1:1 Tuition is exactly what it says on the tin (in the typical Pride Yoga fluff-free way)

I work with you on a 1:1 (or small group basis) in a way that is dedicated to your needs.

WHY?

CONFIDENCE BOOSTING & MYTH BUSTING

Boosting confidence is a key area where private tuition is really valuable.

Group classes can be overwhelming for some students; returning after a break or injury or totally new to practice.

Busting yoga myths, providing reassurance & adding colour about what yoga is really all about can leave the student feeling more confident about their practice.

LEARN CORRECT ALIGNMENT AND FORM FOR YOUR BODY

Yoga is always a challenging practice; moving your body in new ways and focusing solely for the duration of class without the added worry about understanding the poses or thinking about why certain poses might be more challenging for you -every body is different.

Learning & looking at alignment in a private session is fantastic, because there is the time to drill down and look at what is exactly right for you and your body.

HELPING STUDENTS WITH HEALTH CONCERNS & INJURY RECOVERY

For students with health concerns or in recovery a group class may not be the best option to suit their needs.

Private tuition allows me to focus 100% of my attention on helping the student create a safe, comfortable & sustainable practice by explaining techniques & modifications in detail.

100% PERSONAL TO YOU

The fact that private tuition is totally bespoke is a huge benefit;

Want to headstand? Want to get stronger?

Maybe group classes aren't your jam & you fancy a class in your own home?

Whatever it is you want to explore - if it is outside the remit of a group class, private tuition is a great place to dive in.

It’s all about you, your personal goals, concerns and practice!

CASE STUDIES & TESTIMONIALS

CASE STUDY: WHEEL YOGA

PROBLEM: This student had bought a Yoga Wheel & was unsure how to use it safely.

SOLUTION: I taught a session which went through the safety rules when using a Yoga Wheel, then taught the student a beginner level Wheel Yoga class which can be practiced as a whole, or broken down into shorter practices.

I also provided a copy of this class plan for the student to take away.

OUTCOME: Second testimonial box above.

VIDEO: Class planning the session & highlighting some of the content.

CASE STUDY: YOGA TO TARGET SHOULDER & UPPER BACK TIGHTNESS

PROBLEM: This student had been experiencing shoulder & back pain from working at an improvised desk & wanted to learn some poses to maintain mobility as well as reduce pain.

SOLUTION: I designed a sequence that could be done throughout the day at a desk, so the student could select poses that target particular problem areas. The practice was also designed to work on the mat too, with either the full sequence when time is available or a condensed version for when time was tight.

I also provided a copy of this class plan for the student to take away.

OUTCOME: "My shoulders & back feel so much better already, thanks so much!"

VIDEO: A timelapse of the class being delivered online.
