Service Description

Flowing Yoga 101 classes are vinyasa flow style. Vinyasa means to place in a special way. Compared to Yoga 101 it is more dynamic, as we flow through poses rather than holding and resetting. The class again focuses on strength, stability and mobility across the body. In this class we work with particular themes or poses to build to each month. We also include a bit of breath and relaxation work too. Flowing Yoga 101 doesn't include inversions or anything that requires excessive flexibility. This class includes part and full sun salutations as well as some more creative transitions between poses and more technical and challenging poses. These are taught in a way that makes movement accessible, and there is no obligation to do these. This means it is a little stronger than Yoga 101, however still accessible through the variety of choice and options offered throughout class. For this reason, I recommend this class to anyone who has prior experience of yoga - even if you're in your first few months of practice or if you are a beginner who has other movement practices/sports you participate in. If you are totally new to Yoga, I recommend you attend Yoga 101 initially to get a feel for yoga.
